Trying to show my value to you
But in the long run it falls on deaf ears

You cannot please everyone, they said
Perhaps you fall in that category, my friend
If you're not for me then step aside
For your dormancy is costly

As a flower needs water & sunlight to grow
So do I need advice & support to flourish
If you think yours is too expensive for my pocket
Watch this space.

Mistakes are mistakes
They remain in the past but affect our future
You have yours & I, mine
So with your standard, be sure not to make them from time to time.

NEW NAME??

Hello people!

I changed the blog name to God,Myself & Life because;

A) It's God who blessed me with the gift I have & still makes my creativity cup run over

B) Some of the things posted here are inspired by My experiences in different things.

C) At the end of it all, it is my hope that the posts will help every reader in different ways & circumstances of this Life.
( so much for not giving explanations :-P )

The blog is a Christian Poetry blog that occassionally deals with other topics from time to time (hopefully every week)

FOREVER YOURS

Hi folks! Yeah, I know...it came a bit late but it's finally here! (happy dance)
1st of all, I don't really like explaining about the poems 'coz I feel it limits your understanding. Everyone can have different interpretations concerning different things. I want to give y'all (my faithful readers) the liberty of finding meaning in your own unique way. I'm not sure I'll keep posting an explanation every Thursday.., just the poem. Y'all can also tell me what you think about the decision. Without further ado...the much awaited poem

There will always be a change in me,

In times I don't and times I see

Even when I fall down to my knees,

There will always be a change in me

When people talk against my plea,

And when my flesh condemns me

There will always be a change in me,

In times I don't and times I see

VICTIMS OF FATE

This is not a poetic post. It's just my thoughts about life & people. Call it advice. I wrote this 'coz I felt the need to A) Vent it out B) Share it coz there's someone out there it might help. Enjoy

They say its the shoe wearer who knows where it hurts most.But what if these painful, poor excuse for inventions were given to one in every fifteen people?Would these people stick around & mope all the time? Ofcourse not.They'd probably come together, form support groups to talk about their problems & most importantly, find solutions. But what if a few of them discovered ways of easing this pain? Perhaps a new invention?
It would be obvious that they'd share the secret with the rest, no?
But truth is, no one truly understands your path. Y'all might have the same broken bones but it won't affect y'all in the same manner. One might be minor & the other severe thus life altering. One might be 10/10 in the painometer while the other feels its just a scratch.
Do your thing your own way because as you might have heard a million times already, you're on this journey alone. Your friend, parent, lover... will not walk with you to your destination. So do yourself a favor & stop expecting too much from people coz half of them don't care & the other half don't understand how important/ valuable someone or something is to you. Some of these people won't help you because they think they have a right of getting there before you, forgetting that they'll never walk down that path even if heaven comes down to earth. Some people might think they're all that 'coz they have some of these opportunities. What they forget is time & chance happens to us all. You won't always be up & I vice versa. Everything has a reason & a season. It doesn't mean you're stupid, less talented/ creative or less valuable just 'coz your showreel isn't out there yet. I was taught, we can do anything for what I can't you can & vice versa. Lastly, give yourself a break for we're all victims of fate
